A similar piece to the other one with the doll face. This is a study, we did 5 different studies of the same object, trying to create new layouts and page designs. This was "designing the page" and it's an 8"x10", the words mean "clown/clowny". I also had a finger painting phase, where all my clowns were finger painted and this one was one of the minis that came from that. The medium is mixed so it has some watercolour in the background and some thicker more concentrated watercolour as the finger paint, then there is some ink pen and some sharpie to get the shine in the eyes and the mouth. This, like the others is a study so it has some damage to the edges but it just adds to the character of this piece. This one is a hard one for me to let go. I quite enjoy it. This is not a print, this is an original piece.
